Miss Samoa 2009 Highlights
Proud Moment: the smiling faces of the proud parents of the newly crowned Miss Samoa, Jacinta Bourne. The newly crowned Miss Samoa 2009-2010 Jacinta Bourne made her parents two very happy people last week when she won the pageant and taking a clean sweep on some of the special awards. I was quite confident from the beginning of the pageant that Jacinta would win, says proud father Anitelu Bourne. He says beauty contestants is not something new to the new Miss Samoa, and she always took part in such events at church and in the youth groups. I give her my full support and we will be behind her 100% throughout her reign, she has definitely made us very happy. Jacintas mother, Valasi Anitelu Bourne was equally thrilled about the win adding that she also offers her full support just like she has from the beginning. Jacinta Bourne is a twenty-one year old from the villages of Lalovaea and Leauvaa. She is the third eldest in a family of four, she has one sister She was sponsored by Le Spa Lalelei o Samoa, and also won the Best Puletasi, Best Talent, Best Sarong and Miss Photogenic Im so excited, I thank the heavenly father for this great experience, Jacinta told Newsline. She’s beautiful i’m not one to judge its not our job, but its said that people can be so cruel with words, thats why its so hard with our atunu’u samoa why do we have to be so negative, we all make mistakes nobody is perfect, encourage eachother, give good advices and keep everything positive why does it have to be so negative, we learn and keep moving forward. I don’t know her, but she carry herself with such grace.

@deelishis1 you can talk all day about humbleness, but the matter of the fact is that on the night of the pagaent, Jacinta was around about three months pregnant already. If the STA asked her to abort her baby, then I acknowledge that as deplorable. However, a truly humble person would have withdrawn from the competition and allowed for an eligible contestant to be crowned on the night.

No hating but Jacinta went through things yall dont understand and i would know because im also from the beautiful village of Leauvaa and her little sister Mena is a good friend of mine and yous dont know what happens, did yous even know that the organiser asked Jacinta to abbort her baby to carry on with the competition?? I dont think so thats y its kaea, and Cinta entered and didnt think she stood a chance..she was the BEST and noone came close to her..Yall cant touch her!!

Congratulation Jacinta Bourne. You carried youself exceptionally well, very graceful and elegant. Dancing was breathtaking and you truly deserved to win.
I must say though Tavailiah had the most stunning outfits, seriously!!! Whoever the designer was, Keep up the good work!!! Loved it!!!!
To the rest of the contestant, Malo lava le taumafai. It takes a lot of courage to enter and i give u guys props for doing that.
