I'm 15 and I want a band. Want to help me?
I’m 15… in 2 months… I play the keyboard/piano, kinda sing (noo its bad), and am asking to be put in guitar lessons. If there is anyone that is as desperate as me to be in a band that can play an instrument (you gotta be kinda good) please e-mail me!!!! Oh and it would help if you lived in California… in San Clemente (right next to Dana Point, which is south of LA and north of San Diego) It would be kinda cool if you went to San Clemente High School too. If you are in a band already and need a bitch, I’m here =]

Damn you sound cool. I so wish I lived in Cali, but I live in boring-ass Texas. I’ve always wanted to be in a band and hope to learn the piano and electric guitar soon. Good Luck.

Hello. I’m nowhere near that part of the earth, but i will give you some advice. I am also 15 and play the keyboard in a band. It is serious stuff, and a lot of practice is involved, you should think seriously if you want to dedicate time to the band or just want to be cool for the looks. I have some friends that are wannabe musicians. they are just lame when they take the guitar and can’t keep a rhythm. So, my advice to you is to try and practice even before you get in touch with other musicians. you can get seriously humiliated by people who know what’s going on at "the other end of the keyboard", even when plain other colleagues think you were alright. Just look at the crappy music that exists these days and the incompetence of many singers/musicians.
