do you find it annoying?
when people walk around everywhere wearing shirts from hollister that say "orange county" san clemente" "so cal" "california"???
i live in southern california but was sent to live with my dad in springhill florida and EVERYONE here wears that type of stuff. i ask them why and they say cause they wanna look like theyre from california…newsflash..people from california dont wear that and we think its kinda strange that everyone thrives to look like they’re from so cal.trust me its not that great. i went from california guys and being a beach bum at laguna my whole life to cow tippin and eatin everything fried..i fell in love with a redneck 
but yeah everyone thinks i’m overeacting about the whole shirt thing.
but idk it makes me homesick and im wondereing if other people would find that annoying or if i’m just being paranoid???

It doesn’t really bother me, I think it does you because like you said it reminds you of home and home sickness gets to you once in a while.
As long as you’re happy, I wouldn’t let something as small as that bother you, there are more important things in life going on.

I don’t really notice, mainly since to me, clothes are clothes. It doesn’t matter if people wear that kind of clothes. I mean, look at kids in poor African nations…they all wear the same T shirt from red cross or some other foundation.

Maybe just that person wears it for that reason, I’m sure that other people wear it because that’s what they happen to think is in style. When I was in high school I thought it was so tacky that everyone would wear them because like 4 or 5 other people would have the same one on too.
Aside from that, I think you are over reacting, you really can’t speak for all the people in Cali, whether they find it annoying or not. Like you said, everyone thinks you are over reacting.

Haha, i found that out too. Just like Hello Kitty isn’t a big thing in Japan anymore; but it’s really popular in the US. Hmm, you ARE probably just homesick or overreacting; but it’s just a shirt. And you have to live with the fact that people fall under trends really easily, and follow the crowd.

I’m from miami, florida and i had to move to california. everyone back east thinks that ca is all that, a bag of chips and a snickers bar. when i travel back east to vist family i always see someone wearing one of those shirts and i’m like wth?? it annoys me too!!
Oh my gosh, yes I find it annoying. I live in So. Cal. and everyone that isn’t from California expects you too be a Hollister worshipper, or have beach hair and be tan all the time. Hollister and those stores personally annoy the living shiz out of me. Oh the stereotypes California get.
